Notes:

In case of steady rain the event will be canceled.  Otherwise, we will really appreciate two hours of your help.

  1. For most of our projects you will need work clothes, boots, hat, gloves, sunscreen and insect repellent, water to drink, and pruning shears or loppers.  For cutting Phragmites, however, we recommend manual hedge trimming shears or loppers.  The Phragmites grows in a wet marsh, so high water proof boots are recommended for this work.
  2. Be aware that you may encounter ticks, poison ivy, thorny shrubs and vines.
  3. Questions?  Call the property steward for each event, or the stewardship chairman, Ian Clark (653-7417).
