Great Marsh was acquired as a series of donations in 1978, 1997, and 2001, amounting to about 115 acres. As the name suggests, much of it is wetland. There is also a nice area of pine forest, notably our "Pine Bowl". This is just one of about a dozen properties we are protecting. We welcome your support. In particular, we need members ($40/year for a family), and volunteers to help with stewardship (monitoring and maintaining our properties). More images... |
